We are looking for a PLATFORM ENGINEER (M/F/D) to join our team!

As a Platform Engineer, you will be part of our international, interdisciplinary team and support the implementation of modern, scalable solutions based on leading public and private cloud platforms.

Your Tasks

  • Development and implementation of modern, scalable solutions using cloud-native approaches on leading public and private cloud platforms
  • Design and operation of secure, resilient, and easy-to-maintain systems
  • Close collaboration as part of an agile, cross-functional development team to ensure user-centric systems
  • Consulting and support on infrastructure issues (security, costs, maintenance).
  • Maintenance and further development of existing platforms to ensure smooth operation

Your profile

  • Several years of experience as a Platform Engineer or in a similar role
  • Solid knowledge of Linux and network planning (VPC)
  • Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Proven expertise in cloud architecture with a focus on microservices and container orchestration
  • Expertise in security, zero-trust approaches, and patch management
  • Knowledge of observability
  • Fluency in spoken and written German or English (min. C1)

Tech Stack

  • Container orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, AKS, Kustomize
  • Scripting languages: JavaScript, Python, Bash
  • GitOps: ArgoCD, FluxCD, Helm
  • Distributed systems & managed services: Serverless, load balancing, CDN, caching
  • Infrastructure as Code: Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible
  • CI/CD tools: GitHub, Azure DevOps
Nice-to-have
  • Certifications (Linux, cloud providers)
  • Experience with governance and security services (e.g., Security Center, Defender, AquaSec)
